Frequently asked questions
I put everything people usually ask me in one place so you do not have to hunt through policies. If you still are not sure, email me and I will do my best to help.
About Pixqon
-
What is Pixqon?
Pixqon is a tiny experimental 3D studio run by one person. I design and tweak 3D products and STL files myself, print physical parts to order and pack every shipment by hand.
-
Who is behind the store?
It is just me. There is no big team in the background. If you get an email, a tracking update or a small note in your parcel, that is from me personally.
Orders and shipping
-
Where do you ship physical products?
I currently ship physical Pixqon products to:
- North America: Canada, United States
- Europe: Germany, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom
- Oceania: Australia, New Zealand
Digital products like STL files are available worldwide as downloads, unless a product page says otherwise.
-
How much is shipping?
For physical items, standard shipping is already built into the product price. You will not see a surprise shipping fee added at checkout.
If your country charges import duties or handling fees, those are collected by your postal service or customs and are outside of my control.
-
How long will my order take?
Everything is 3D printed to order. I first print, clean and check your parts, then pack and hand them to the carrier. Timing depends on how many orders are in the queue and how complex the print is.
Once shipped, delivery time depends on the carrier and your country. The estimate shown at checkout is usually a good guide for what to expect.
-
How do I track my order?
When your order ships, you should receive a shipping email with tracking details. You can also use the Pixqon order tracker any time after checkout: open order tracker.
Products and STL files
-
What is the difference between a 3D printed product and an STL file?
A 3D printed product is the physical item that I print and ship to you. An STL file is a digital file that you download and print yourself on your own 3D printer.
Product pages always mention whether you are buying a physical print, a digital file, or both.
-
Can I sell or share your STL files or prints?
Purchases of STL files are for personal use. You can print them for yourself or as gifts, but please do not resell, upload or redistribute the files, and do not sell printed copies as a product without talking to me first.
If you are interested in a small commercial license for a design, email me and tell me what you have in mind.
-
My home print failed. Can you refund the STL file?
Prints on your own machine depend a lot on your printer, material and slicer settings, which I cannot control. Because of that I normally cannot refund STL files for failed home prints.
If you are stuck, feel free to send me your printer model and slicer details. I cannot promise a full fix for every setup, but I will try to share tips that have worked for other people.
Returns and problems
-
Do you accept returns for 3D printed products?
Since every physical item is 3D printed to order, I usually cannot take returns for change of mind or wrong size choice.
If something arrives damaged, defective or clearly not what you ordered, email me within 14 days with your order number and photos and I will look into a repair, replacement or refund. Full details are in the Pixqon Return and refund policy.
-
Can I get a refund for STL files?
Once an STL file has been downloaded, I normally cannot offer refunds, since there is no real way to send the file back.
If the file itself is corrupted, incomplete or not the one listed on the product page, contact me and I will send a working version or sort out another fix.
-
What should I do if something arrives damaged?
Take a few clear photos of the item and the packaging as soon as you can, then email me with your order number. I will check the photos, ask any extra questions I need and then decide whether a replacement, repair or refund makes the most sense.
Contact and support
-
How do I contact you if my question is not here?
Email is the best way to reach me: hi@pixqon.com.
I usually reply within 48 to 72 hours. You can also follow Pixqon on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok as @pixqon for small experiments, behind the scenes and new drops.
If you are emailing about an order, please include your order number and checkout email so I can find it quickly.
